Mrs. Laurie Baker - Preschool

Welcome to St Benedict Catholic Preschool! I teach the 3 and 4-year-old programs in my 13th year teaching preschool. Every year is a new experience and I am truly amazed with children's enthusiasm for learning.

Preschool is a developmentally appropriate kindergarten readiness program, integrating hands-on experiences and individualizing curriculum around each child's needs. It is accomplished through learning centers, technology, hands-on materials, and direct instruction with small groups by following the Diocese of Toledo Curriculum and State of Ohio standards.

Our Religion program is called the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Children work with biblical and liturgical materials and listen to scriptures. It's a wonderful way to learn about the love of God.
