Thursday Thoughts From Mrs. Huss

February 16, 2012

A February snow fall certainly did not prevent us from celebrating a wonderful Valentine's Day
and it did provide us with a beautiful view from our windows. Next Wednesday we will begin
the season of Lent. We will have an all school Mass Wednesday morning to begin prayerfully
this season.

TODAY in your envelopes you will receive all information necessary for registration for next
year. Please remember that we are using the actual cost of educating each child at St. Benedict
as the basis for all tuition. We believe, as does the Diocese, that this will present a much
clearer picture of what it actually costs versus what we are asking of parents as tuition. The
paperwork may seem a bit cumbersome this year but please bear with us this first year of using
the new tuition contract. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT SERVICE HOURS NEED TO BE TURNED IN
BEFORE REGISTRATION IS CONSIDERED COMPLETE.

MOVIE NIGHT AT OUR LADY OF LOURDES IS THIS SATURDAY, FEB. 18—DINNER AT 6 AND
MOVIE AT 7:00—Mr. Popper's Penguins is the movie. THIS IS A FREE FAMILY EVENT!!!!! Thanks
to the Our Lady of Lourdes Men's Club!

Earn service hours by volunteering to help set up and serve at the Our Lady of Lourdes Elizabeth
Ministry Mom's Tea. Set up hours will be Friday, April 20 from 1-3pm and the set up and
serving hours for the Tea will be Saturday, April 21 from 9-3 in the parish Lourdes Room. If
interested in helping please call Rose: (419) 385-8122 or Peggy (419)865-5322.
